Indian Railway Rules Changed For Booking: Indian Railways is the fourth largest rail system in the world. Crores of people travel by Indian Railways every day. For whom the Railways runs thousands of trains. Most of the passengers book tickets before traveling by train. So that they do not face any problems during the journey. Many of these people plan their trips.

They book tickets months in advance. But now the railways have changed the rules of ticket booking. After the change in the rules of the railways, it will affect crores of passengers. Which passengers will benefit from the rules of the railways? And how much of a fight will there be for ticket booking. Let us tell you.

Will the common man benefit?

If someone had to book in advance for traveling by train, then according to the rules of the railway, earlier 120 days were available for that. That is, you could book tickets 4 months in advance for a trip after 4 months. But now Indian Railways has reduced its time limit. Now passengers can book only two months in advance. That is, only 60 days will be given to the passengers for booking. Due to the change in the rules of the railway, the problems of passengers with waiting tickets have increased.

Earlier, if someone booked a ticket 120 days in advance and got a ticket in the waiting list, then he had a lot of time to get the ticket confirmed. But now in 60 days, passengers with waiting tickets will get less chance of ticket confirmation. Common man books tickets much in advance to avoid booking tickets on Tatkal. But now due to the change in rules, there will be some difficulties for the common man. At the same time, the chances of getting confirmed tickets will increase for those who make late booking. But this decision may increase the fight for tickets during the festival time.

In the notification issued by the Railways, it has been told that till October 31, 2024, passengers will continue to get the same facility as before. That is, till October 31, 2024, passengers can still book 120 days in advance. The new rule of Railways will come into effect from November 1, 2024.
