In a recent interview, actor Mohib Mirza highlighted the importance of young men addressing their mental health and not hesitating to seek professional help when facing stress.

Speaking directly to male viewers, Mirza stressed, “This is for the guys out there—whether you’re watching now or later, don’t think that seeking help makes you any less cool. Whether it’s stress from school, family, or relationships, it’s important to book a session with a professional.”

Mirza encouraged young men not to shy away from therapy, emphasizing that dealing with everything alone is not always the best approach. “You may think it’s expensive or unnecessary, but it’s something that can really help. A psychiatrist or psychologist provides the space you need to pause and process things, which can be life-changing,” he said.

When asked by host Rabia Mughni about his own experiences with therapy, Mirza explained, “People might not fully understand, but work- pressure is something anyone with a job can relate to.”

As both an actor and director, Mohib Mirza shared that balancing multiple roles can be overwhelming, especially for someone like him who tends to overthink and overanalyze.

Mirza is currently starring in the drama Jafaa, directed by Danish Nawaz and written by Samira Fazal, airing on HUM TV every Friday at 8:00 PM.
