Pakistan’s white-ball teams for the match against Australia are expected to be announced by PCB next week, and Rizwan is in the running to be captain

October 19, 2015, Islamabad, Pakistan: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to name the team for the white-ball series against Australia next week. According to sources, Mohammad Rizwan is in the running to replace Babar Azam as the white-ball leader.

Sources say that Rizwan is the first choice of the selection group to lead the team. The final choice will be made by Mohsin Naqvi, head of the PCB, after he talks with other leaders and judges.

Quick right arm It’s possible that Mohammad Hasnain will play in an ODI again. He last played in a 50-over match for Pakistan against New Zealand in January 2023.

There are also batting wicketkeeper Haseebullah and all-rounder Aamir Jamal in the running for the Pakistan ODI team that will play the Baggy Greens.

The first ODI will be held on November 4 at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground. The last ODI will be on November 10 at the Optus Stadium, and the second one will be on November 8 at the Adelaide Oval.

Once the ODI series is over, there will be three T20Is on November 14, 16, and 18. Before going on their tour of Australia, Pakistan will play the last Test match of the series against England in Rawalpindi on October 24.

The 14-player team will be led by Pat Cummins. Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, and Cameron Green will not be on the team.

Marsh and Head will not play in the three ODIs because they need to take time off to be dads. Both stars are going to have babies soon. Green has missed the whole season because he chose to have surgery on his back.

Josh Inglis is the only wicketkeeper for the game. Alex Carey has been left out of the game even though he played well for the Baggy Greens against England in his first ODI back.

Australia’s ODI team for the Pakistan series includes Sean Abbott, Cooper Connolly, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Aaron Hardie, Josh Hazlewood, Josh Inglis, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Short, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, and Adam Zampa. Pat Cummins is the captain.
