Maharashtra: Uproar and scuffle during Yogendra Yadav’s speech, people climbed on the stage, chairs moved.

Swaraj India Party founder Yogendra Yadav was attacked by a mob during a program in Akola, Maharashtra. While his speech was going on, 40 to 50 angry people climbed the stage and started pushing him. Let us tell you, the workers of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), the party of Bhimrao Ambedkar's grandson Prakash Ambedkar, have opened a front against Yogendra Yadav.

Actually, Yogendra Yadav had reached Akola under his Bharat Jodo campaign. During this time he was addressing a meeting, when VBA workers reached there and started creating ruckus. Within no time the workers climbed onto the stage and started vandalizing it. During this, VBA workers also threw chairs, due to which there was chaos in the program.

The police force present at the spot and Yogendra Yadav's supporters with great difficulty prevented the VBA workers from climbing the stage. But due to this uproar, Yogendra Yadav had to stop his speech midway. The situation became so bad that it became difficult to get Yogendra Yadav out. However, policemen and supporters somehow took him out.

a matter of concern for democracy

After the uproar, Yogendra Yadav said that the attack on me and my colleagues in Akola is a matter of concern for a person who believes in democracy. He told that during the Vidarbha tour of Bharat Jodo Abhiyaan, we were holding a conference on the topic 'Protection of the Constitution and our vote'. Meanwhile, the crowd climbed the stage to stop me from speaking. He said that local friends formed a circle and protected me. Even after the arrival of the police, the miscreants continued vandalizing.

Promised to come to Akola again

Yogendra Yadav said that he has given lectures at many places in Maharashtra in the last 25 years, but this has never happened before. This incident is sad for Maharashtra as well as those who believe in the Constitution and democracy. But such incidents make our dedication to protecting democracy even stronger. Yogendra Yadav promised to come to Akola again.
