The bet backfired! Went to rob a jewelery shop, shopkeeper shot him; 2 miscreants injured

In Begusarai district of Bihar, criminals committed robbery in a jewelers shop in broad daylight. The miscreants looted jewelery worth Rs 30 to 35 lakh from the shop. There was also firing, in which one person got injured. Seeing the firing, the shopkeeper also retaliated, in which two miscreants were shot. On receiving the information, the police arrived and captured both the injured criminals and took them to the hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

The incident took place at PP Jewelers near Patel Chowk of Nagar police station area. The owner of PP Jewelers shop told that first two miscreants entered the shop posing as customers. His son took both the miscreants to the upper floor and started showing them the jewellery, after some time both the miscreants started firing. In this firing incident by miscreants, a salesman got shot. His son narrowly escaped death.

Shot at the miscreants with a licensed pistol

The owner of PP Jewelers shop told that he was not at the shop at the time of the incident. He quickly reached the shop and fired at both the criminals with his licensed pistol, injuring both the criminals. The police arrived half an hour after the incident and took both the miscreants with them. There was a lot of anger among the people due to this incident which happened in broad daylight.

Police saved the miscreants from the crowd

After receiving information about the incident, hundreds of people reached the spot and started demanding that both the miscreants be handed over to the mob. However, the police somehow saved them from the crowd and took both the miscreants with them. Police said that two miscreants who were carrying out this incident have been arrested. People have also been appealed to maintain peace. Police is busy investigating the incident.
