IT sector has to be taken to greater heights… Punjab government promises, new industrial policy will be made with the advice of industrialists

Punjab Industries and Commerce, Capital Investment, Labor and Tourism Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund participated as the chief guest in the Industrialists Meet program of CII. He assured the industrialists that industrial policies in Punjab will be implemented with the advice of the industrialists. These policies will facilitate industrialists to work without any hassle.

At CII's Sector 31 office, he said that the Punjab government under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann is making serious efforts for the development of the industries in the state. Soon the portal of Invest Punjab will be linked to the websites of the concerned departments, so that the businessmen do not face any difficulty.

Investment of Rs 88 crore came in Punjab

Punjab Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund said that in the last two and a half years, investment worth about Rs 88 thousand crore has come into Punjab, and this pace is continuing rapidly. Saund said that Punjab's policies for investment are the best in the country. He appealed to the industrialists to contribute to the progress of Punjab. He said that the Punjab government will not allow any industry to move out of the state. The government is committed to meeting all the needs of industrialists.

Along with this, he also said that in the coming times, the campaign to take Mohali to new heights in the field of IT industry has been intensified. On this occasion, industrialists gave many suggestions and also shared their problems with the Industries Minister. Saund said that the government takes the suggestions given by the CII representatives seriously. Regarding some policies, suggestions and demands of industrialists, Saund said that the related issues will be completed soon after discussing with the Chief Minister.

CII's appeal for Punjab

Saund inspired all the members of CII to become brand ambassadors of Punjab and bring more and more investment in the state. He also inspired the industrialists to take maximum advantage of the schemes related to the welfare of employees of the Labor Department. He said that there are many schemes of the Labor Department which industrialists can take advantage of.

Earlier, CII Punjab Chairman Abhishek Gupta welcomed the Industries Minister and praised the efforts being made for the progress of industries. Apart from renowned industrialists from across the state, Invest Punjab CEO DPS Kharbanda, Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation MD Varinder Kumar Sharma, Labor Department Managing Secretary Manvesh Singh Sidhu and CII Punjab Vice Chairman Amit Jain were also present in the meeting.
