The central government has started various types of schemes for the economically weaker citizens of its country, which aims to start various types of schemes to help these people, one such scheme is Ayushman Bharat Yojana, this initiative ensures that the needy people can get quality medical treatment without any financial burden, which provides coverage of up to ₹ 5 lakh per family annually. To avail this scheme, eligible persons must obtain Ayushman card, which is a prerequisite for getting free treatment. Let's know how you can get Ayushman card-

Documents required for Ayushman Bharat Yojana

Aadhaar Card: This is the primary identification document required for the application.

Ration Card: It serves as proof of your eligibility and helps in the verification process.

Residence Certificate: This document confirms your address and residence status.

Active mobile number: A contact number is required for communication about your application.

Note: Not having any one of these documents may result in your application being rejected

Application Process

If you meet the eligibility criteria and have all the required documents, follow these steps to apply for your Ayushman card:

Visit the nearest Jan Seva Kendra: Locate your nearest Jan Seva Kendra, which is the designated center for applying.

Meet the relevant officer: Upon reaching, approach the officer responsible for handling applications.

Submit your documents: Present your documents to the officer, who will verify them for completeness and accuracy.

Eligibility Verification: The officer will assess your eligibility based on the submitted documents.

Submitting the application: If everything is okay, your application will be submitted, and your Ayushman card will be processed.
