Latest News :- Elections are going to be held in two phases on a total of 81 seats in Jharkhand state. The first phase of elections will be held on 13 November. At present there is a coalition government under the leadership of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soran. All India parties like JMM, Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) are contesting elections here. RJD opposed this.
