Startups will get access to the “HCL SYNC program” for global market exposure under the “Manufacturing Incubation Initiative,” which will enable them to exhibit their goods and services globally and introduce Indian innovation to a global audience.

According to the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), the partnership represents a significant advancement for the Indian manufacturing sector and advances the country’s objective of becoming a national production center.

DPIIT Joint Secretary Sanjiv Singh said, “Innovation will thrive and Indian businesses will acquire a stronger foothold on the global stage through this collaboration.”

By encouraging and assisting product startups, inventors, and entrepreneurs, he reinforced DPIIT’s commitment to cultivating and advancing the country’s manufacturing ecosystem.

India’s ‘Make in India’ campaign will be greatly aided by this partnership, which would establish India as a major base for manufacturing worldwide.

“The goals of this initiative are to improve product quality by giving startups the resources and know-how to produce world-class products that satisfy international standards, build a strong manufacturing ecosystem by creating a network of connected startups and suppliers capable of supporting the full manufacturing value chain, and develop Indian intellectual property by encouraging startups to create unique products and solutions tailored to India,” stated DPIIT.

HCLSoftware’s Chief Product Officer, Kalyan Kumar, said the decision marks a turning point in India’s industrial history.

According to Kumar, the business would do all in its power to promote economic expansion and innovation, greatly advancing India’s goal of becoming a major player in the world of manufacturing.

To date, DPIIT has inked more than 80 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with industry participants under the “Startup India” program.
