Lawrence Ah Mon, an actor and the chairman of the Hong Kong Filmmakers’ Association, shared that he has been helping Tse’s family with funeral arrangements.

He expressed shock at Tse’s sudden death, noting that Tse was the one who introduced him to the film industry. They had co-starred in several films together.

Throughout his career, Tse appeared in over 20 films, including “Queen of Gambling,” “Comrades: Almost a Love Story,” and “Glass Tears.”

His portrayal of a bar owner in the 2001 hit “Shaolin Soccer” left a memorable impression. He retired from acting in 2005 to focus on behind-the-scenes work.
