In the second Test, which India lost by 113 runs, Kohli scored 1 and 17. The hosts fell down 0-2 on Saturday, ultimately losing the three-match series.

On the cricket pitch, the top player is renowned for expressing himself and never refrains from responding to the circumstances of the match.

On October 26, shortly after being dismissed in the second inning at the MCA Stadium, Kohli seemed devastated after falling to Mitchell Santner twice.

On his way back to the pavilion, Virat is seen losing his temper and slamming his bat into the ice container in a video that is becoming viral online.

Interestingly, in the 30th over, Kohli got stuck in front. He made the decision to attempt the DRS, but it was unsuccessful since he was ruled out by the umpire’s call.

After playing a few consecutive dot balls, the pressure eventually overcame the 35-year-old, who had looked good in his first few balls.

Within three days of the match, New Zealand secured a historic victory, bowling out India for 245 runs in 60.2 overs.

After losing the last Test series at home to England 2-1 in 2012, this was India’s first loss in 12 years.

In the four innings of two games so far, Kohli has only amassed 88 runs. In the first Bengaluru match, which India lost by eight wickets, he scored 0 and 70.

The fact that the opponents’ top player, Kane Williamson, was not there made the victory even more memorable.

Williamson, the top run scorer for New Zealand in Test cricket, is yet to go to India for the Test series because of fitness concerns.

When the two sides play their third and final match in Mumbai starting on November 1, India will be hoping for a series victory as a consolation, while New Zealand will attempt to finish with a 3-0 thumping.
