The WhatsApp Channel QR Code feature can be rolled out soon. The company has started its development.

A new feature is coming for WhatsApp Channel. The company is working on bringing a QR Codes feature for channels. With its help, WhatsApp users will be able to view and follow the channel by scanning the QR code. Currently this feature is in development. It will be brought in the future with the upcoming update of the popular instant messaging app. Let's know about it in detail.

WABetainfo, a website that keeps an eye on the upcoming feature of WhatsApp, has given information about this feature coming for Channels in its latest report. According to the report, the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.22.20 update available on Google Play Store has revealed that a feature is being worked on, that will allow viewing and following the channel through a QR code.

A screenshot has also been given in the report. According to the screenshot, WhatsApp is working on bringing a new section that will allow channel owners to share QR codes for their channels. This will be released in a future update.

Using QR codes is an easier and better way than sharing links. Sending a link to users will result in a QR code appearing directly on the screen. This feature will eliminate the need for users to copy and send the channel link in case of face-to-face conversation.

Channel owners will be able to easily show the QR code on their device to friends, making the sharing process much easier. After scanning the QR code, users will be immediately redirected to the channel, allowing them to view its content with just one tap in the future.

However, keep in mind that this feature is currently only in the development phase. It will be released as a testing first for beta users with future updates. After that the feature will be rolled out to all users for the stable version.
