Oct. 28 in Mumbai One of the champions for the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF) 2024 is the famous director Richie Mehta, who is known for movies like “Poacher” and “Delhi Crime.” This year, the event will run from November 22 to December 8. Its goal is to raise knowledge about sustainability and environmental problems.

ALT EFF hires new champions every year to speak for the festival and help spread the idea that movies can be used to make a difference. This year, Richie Mehta will be the face of the festival, supporting sustainable and environmental awareness through films. In 2023, Alia Bhatt was the face of the festival.

Richie Mehta said this about his work with the festival: “Cinema has the power to teach, inspire, and make you think.” Festivals like ALT EFF are very important for making sure that we all deal with the environmental problems we have now. Poacher showed how terrible it is when wildlife is traded illegally, and I hope that ALT EFF will help start more talks about conservation and sustainability.

His work on Alia Bhatt’s movie “Poacher” shows how elephants are poached and the illegal trade in ivory in India. The series fits in nicely with the festival’s goal. “Poacher” is a powerful film that shows how cruel wildlife abuse really is. This is one of ALT EFF’s main goals in working for a healthy future.

The All Living Things Environmental Film Festival in 2024 looks like it will be another great event where directors, organizers, and moviegoers come together to protect the world.
