Kartik Aaryans Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Ajay Devns Singham Again have geared up for the big Diwali clash at the box office. Even with three days left for release both films have already started attracting audiences to theatres with solid performances in advance booking. The films are off to a good start at the ticket window after the advance bookings of bothe the films started. Both films set for release on November 1 will be showcased in over 6000 screens in cinemas nationwide during the Diwali weekend. Singham Again which is part of Rohit Shettys Cop Universe has the edge in terms of screen count exhibitors say. It has secured 60% of the screens in most territories leaving 40% for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Despite that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 beats Singham Again.
As per sacnilk.com the horror comedy sold over 235K tickets worth approximately Rs 7.50 crore from around 8700 shows. If we calculate the blocked seats the collection goes till Rs 10.99 crore as of now. On the other hand Singham 3 sold around 189K tickets worth Rs 6.15 crore from around 11700 shows on the opening day. If we calculate the blocked seats the collection goes till Rs 10.2 crore as of now. There will be neck-to-neck competition.
Trade experts predict that Singham Again will open in the Rs 40-45 crore range while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 could earn around Rs 20-25 crore on day one. The two films will likely impact each other’s business. The clash between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is going to be interesting. Both films have the potential to surpass Rs 1000 crore in lifetime collections as per the expert.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Agains clash gets bitter?
The title track for Singham Again was released on Saregama Music YouTube and other major social media platforms. The song featuring a new score by Ravi Basrur and blending parts of the original Singham theme from 2011 was well-received. However the viewers noticed it was no longer available on YouTube. Instead of the video a message appeared saying it was removed due to a copyright strike from T-Series.
Later on an edited version of the song was re-uploaded on the YouTube channel. Listeners noted that the re-uploaded version was missing the iconic Singham theme from the previous two films. The theme was composed for the 2011 film by Ajay-Atul and the soundtrack was released by T-Series.
