Weird Tradition : There are many traditions in the world. There are some customs which we are familiar with, but some customs have also been created which are completely different and surprising. However, there is a tribe in the world which even risks its life to maintain its traditions, customs, culture and rituals. Today we are going to tell you about one such tradition, in which women take bath only once in their entire life.
Actually, the name of that tribe is Himba tribe, where women take bath only once in their life… and that too on their wedding day. The tribe lives in northern Namibia, now known as Kakoland. Whose population is about 50,000 people. The women and girls here are considered very beautiful even after not bathing.
However, it is not that she does not keep her body fresh if she does not take bath. Instead of bathing, she takes skin care with special herbs. Due to its smoke, their body remains absolutely fresh and their body smells good, which gives freshness to their body. Along with this, it also eliminates germs, due to which they are not at risk of diseases. Therefore, she can live her entire life without bathing.
According to local people, women and girls of the Himba tribe are prohibited from touching water. That's why neither she takes bath nor she washes clothes. This tradition has been going on for years, which is still followed today. These women are also known as Red Men, because they use hematite, so that their color becomes red and they appear different from all the men.
