NEET PG 2024: Round 1 will start on November 7

According to the official schedule, the verification of the seat matrix will be done on November 7 as per the number of seats provided by the medical institutions. After this, the process of filling the choices will be done between November 8 to 17. The choices will be locked on November 17 between 4:00 pm to 11:55 pm. After this, the process of seat allotment will be done on November 18-19. The result of the first phase of counseling will be released on November 20. Students who get seats in the first round of counseling will have to report to the concerned educational institution between November 21 and 27.

NEET PG 2024: Second round will start on December 4

After this, the second round of counseling will start on December 4. In this, the verification of the probable seat matrix will be done on December 4. Then students will be able to make payment before 3:00 pm on 9th December. Candidates will fill their choices between 5th to 9th December and choice locking will be done on 9th December. Seat allotment will be done on 10th and 11th December. The result of the second round of counseling will be released on 12th December.

NEET PG 2024: Third round result will come on 4th January

As per the schedule, the process of third round counseling will start from 26th December with the verification of seat matrix. Payment facility will be available till 1st January. Candidates will be able to lock their choices before 31st December during this period. The choices will be locked on 1st January and the seat allotment process will start on 2nd and 3rd January. The result of the third round will be released on 4th January. The students selected in this round will have to report to their institute between 6th and 13th January.

NEET PG 2024: Vacant seats will be filled from January 18

Even during the three rounds of counseling, it is possible that seats of many educational institutions remain vacant. Stray vacancy round will be conducted to fill these seats. The seat matrix of the seats provided by the institutions for this round will be prepared from January 18, 2025. After this, the candidate will be able to submit the fee till January 21. Also, he will be able to lock the choice till January 21. The choices will be locked on January 21 and the seat allotment process will be completed on January 22 and 23 and the result will be released on January 24.
