Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has extended the last date for submission of application forms for admission to vacant seats in classes 9th and 11th in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, now students can submit admission forms till 9th November. Earlier the date for submission of forms was 30 October.

When will the exams be held?
The entrance exam for lateral entry admission in Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th 11th will be conducted on 8 February 2025 next year.
What is the criteria sought?
For class 9th, the candidate should be born between 01 May 2010 to 31 July 2012. The candidate should be studying in class 8 in session 2024-25. Similarly, for admission in class 11th, the student should be born between 01 June 2008 to 31 July 2010. Also, he should be studying in class 10th in session 2024-25.
What will be the exam pattern?
The exam pattern of Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Test has also been announced. The duration of the exam will be 2.30 hours. Divyang (differently abled) candidates will be given additional 50 minutes. There will be 100 objective type questions in the exam. Questions will be asked from Mental Ability, Science, English, Social Science and Maths in the exam. There will be 20-20 questions from all sections. Each question will be of 1 mark.
