A massive fire broke out in a plastic and paper warehouse in Alipur area of the country's capital Delhi on Saturday evening. A Delhi Fire Brigade official said that information about a fire in a warehouse in Phirni area of Alipur was received at around 4 o'clock, after which 30 fire tenders were sent to the spot. He said that the operation to extinguish the fire is going on and no casualties have been reported yet.
At present the cause of the fire has not been known yet. It is being told that only after the fire is controlled, it will be known what caused the fire. As a precaution, nearby warehouses have also been evacuated. Earlier on Saturday, an incident of fire in a factory in Ghaziabad was reported.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said that this incident of fire is very worrying. Have spoken to the District Magistrate, all possible government assistance is being provided here by the Delhi Government. Many fire brigade vehicles are present at the spot and firefighters are trying to control the fire. By the grace of God, no loss of life has been reported so far. I myself am continuously monitoring this incident.
