UP: BBA student opened fire on school bus after quarreling with driver, accused caught after scanning 150 CCTVs

Three to four unidentified miscreants pelted stones and fired at a school bus in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. More than two dozen children were traveling in the school bus during the incident. There was screaming among the children due to the incident of firing and stone pelting on the bus. Taking this incident seriously, many senior officials of the district had reached the spot after receiving the information and had given instructions to search for the accused. But the accused were not caught by the police. After the incident, there was constant pressure on the police to arrest the accused.

In fact, like every day, school bus driver Monty had gone to pick up children from Nagla Mafi village on the day of the incident. During which more than two dozen children were traveling in the bus. When bus driver Monty was backing the bus, he had an argument with Manit, a resident of Nagla Mafi. However, some people present at the spot pacified both of them and sent them away from the spot. But since then Manit was trying to teach the bus driver Monty a lesson. Manit told his friend Aditya about the incident and made a plan to teach the bus driver Monty a lesson. Aditya contacted Aryan Sharma, Nitin regarding this incident and then carried out this incident on 25th October.

Superintendent of Police Kunwar Anupam formed 15 police teams along with SOG and surveillance team to uncover the incident and started nabbing the accused. During this time, after scanning 300 hours of recordings with the help of 150 CCTV cameras, the police identified the four accused and then arrested three accused after the encounter. During the arrest, the police recovered two illegal pistols and the motorcycle used in the incident from the accused.

Three accused arrested

Superintendent of Police Kunwar Anupam said that last week on October 25, four accused had carried out the incident of stone pelting and firing on the bus of SRS International School located in Gajraula police station area. The police took action in connection with the incident and arrested three accused during the encounter. The arrested accused have been identified as Manit, resident of Nangla Mafi village of Gajraula police station area, Aryan Sharma, resident of Vijay Nagar Mohalla of Mandi Dhanaura police station area and Nitin, resident of Hevatpur Chaudharyan Mohalla. Action has been taken against them and they have been sent to jail, while the absconding fourth accused, Aditya, has been said to be arrested soon.
