On Monday, the Pakistani military announced three additional enforced disappearances in the Mastung, Musa Khel, and Mand regions of Balochistan.

According to the Balochistan Post, Mohammed Khan, Amir Noor, and Shah Nawaz Shahwani have been taken into custody by Pakistani soldiers.

The son of Adam Khan Shahwani, Shah Nawaz Shahwani, was arrested by Pakistani soldiers on the day of his wedding at Khadkocha and taken to an unidentified place. The Shahwani clan of Mastung voiced their sorrow over this.

The witness said that Ameer, son of Noor Bakhsh, was taken into custody by the military in Mand at about four in the morning on Monday, according to The Balochistan Post. The witness further said that after being kidnapped from his house, he was taken to an unidentified location.

According to local reports, during the raid in the Rarasham region, Mohammad Khan, son of Mir Ahmed Buzdar, was kidnapped from his house. Later, he was sent to an unidentified place.

The three Baloch men’s incarceration by the military has also been denounced by Paank, the Human Rights Department of the Baloch National Movement.

“Paank has received three more cases of enforced disappearances in Balochistan,” the author said in a post on X. Pakistani soldiers forcefully abducted Nizam Baloch, Muhammad Khan, and Amir Noor.

Paank also called for the prompt release of the victims who had been forcefully vanished by the police, highlighting their names.

In The Balochistan Post, the locals have described the arrest as “deeply distressing.”They demanded that the authorities free the victims right now.

Human rights breaches have been a major concern due to the continued incarceration of the Baloch people.

The development of Balochistan has been hampered by the climate of dread and terror this has produced among the populace.

However, the Baloch people have remained united in their opposition to these enforced disappearances.
