Bollywood actress Somy Ali has described being known as superstar Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend as the biggest curse of her life. Somy Ali, a popular actress of the 1990s and a social worker was in a relationship with Salman Khan for eight years. However, their relationship ended when Aishwarya Rai entered Salman’s life and Somy left India in 1999.

In a recent interview with Indian media, Somy was asked about her opinion on still being known as Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend, and how it added to her recognition. She replied, “Being known as Salman Khan’s girlfriend is the biggest curse for me. I have done great work in the US and achieved a lot, but despite all that, people still recognize me as his ex-girlfriend, which is a curse.”

She further added, “Salman Khan will be 59 or 60 this year, but he still behaves like a schoolboy. Because of his insecurity, he harasses others. He forces people not to talk to me, and girls only realize his true nature many years later.”

Somy also revealed, “I have had no connection with Bollywood for years, and whenever I think about Bollywood, Salman Khan comes to mind, filling me with sadness and depression.”
