Winter Diet: After the end of the rainy season, now the onset of winter has started; in this season, cases of cold and fever are often found. In this season, people often do not pay attention to their diet and hence become ill. Many times it also happens that due to change in weather, people start avoiding consuming cold things. Health experts also talk about controlling the consumption of many things during the winter season. If the body does not get nutrients then it has a bad effect on health.
Here, it is advised to eat hot things to increase body warmth during winter season. Making some nutritional mistakes i.e. mistakes to food can lead to deficiency of nutrients in the body. Let us know which cold food items should not be avoided.
1- Consumption of curd and buttermilk
If you stay away from curd and buttermilk as soon as the winter season arrives, then it is wrong. Many times we do not eat for fear of catching a cold. To keep away digestive problems in winter, one should keep taking curd and buttermilk, because these are probiotic foods which keep the intestines healthy. If the environment is very cold then it is better to avoid these things.
2-Reduce the amount of drinking water
As soon as winter arrives, everyone reduces the amount of water they drink. If you make such a mistake, there may be a problem of dehydration in the body, hence one should keep drinking plenty of water.
3- Distance from coconut water
If you do not consume coconut water during winter season, there is water deficiency in the body. While people stop taking coconut water during winter, this should not be done. It is rich in nutrients and helps in keeping the body hydrated.
4-citrus fruits
During winter, people also stop eating sour fruits because due to the cold nature, people feel that it will harm their health. Like curd, sour fruits are rich in Vitamin C and they increase immunity. Therefore, orange and other citrus fruits can be consumed during the day.
