Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck may be going through a divorce, but it seems like things are friendly.

While promoting “Small Things Like These,” which he produced, Affleck also mentioned another picture, “Unstoppable,” which stars Don Cheadle, Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale, and Lopez.

“’Unstoppable’ is a totally different movie than this, but in a sense, it’s also anchored in the enthusiasm of extremely amazing artists,” Affleck told Entertainment Tonight. “Billy Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jharrel [Jerome], and Bobby Cannavale, all were incredibly excited about this project.”

The producer, director, and star of the film, including his ex, received a lot of acclaim from the actor.

“Jennifer is amazing,” Affleck said. “We trusted in the right people, and Unstoppable is another illustration of that.”

Anthony Robles, a wrestler who was born with one leg and went on to win a national title in 2011, is the subject of the movie “Unstoppable.”

Lopez filed for dissolution of their two-year marriage in Los Angeles in August, which coincided with the anniversary of their Riceboro, Georgia-set wedding ceremony in 2022 after they had eloped in Las Vegas a month previously.

The separation occurred amid allegations the two had been living apart; Lopez canceled her summer tour to spend time with her family, and they placed their Beverly Hills house on the market.

It was Affleck’s second marriage and Lopez’s fourth.
