Ingredients to make Poha Cheela
Poha – 1 cup
Gram flour – 2 tsp
Semolina – 2 tsp
Tomato chopped – 1
Onion chopped – 1
Chopped green chilli – 1 tsp
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Curry leaves – 6-7
Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Oil – as per requirement
Salt – as per taste
How to make Poha Cheela
To make Poha Cheela, clean the Poha thoroughly, wash it with water and then soak it in a vessel filled with water for 5 minutes.
Then grind the poha in a mixer jar.
After this, finely chop onion, tomato, green chilli and green coriander.
Now mix these things well in Pohani paste.
Now add gram flour and semolina to this paste and mix well.
Now add turmeric, cumin powder, sesame seeds, red chili powder and all the spices to this paste and mix well. This will complete your preparation.
– After this, prepare the batter by adding a little water to the paste prepared for making Poha Cheela.
After this, heat a nonstick pan or griddle on medium flame.
When the pan is hot, spread some oil on it.
Now fill pauha batter in a bowl and spread it in the middle of the pan and make cheela.
Fry the cheela several times and then turn it over and pour some oil over it.
When the cheela becomes golden from both the sides, take it out in a plate.
Similarly, prepare Poha Cheela using the entire batter.
Delicious Poha Cheela is ready for breakfast. It can be served with chutney
