Amanda Holden has shared her one-ingredient breakfast secret as she aims to 'shed the belly' before the festive season. The 53 year old Heart FM presenter, who has previously claimed she "doesn't diet" and "eats everything", has made a change to her morning meal with on the horizon.
During a chat on Heart Breakfast with co-host Jason "JK" King, Amanda revealed she's been opting for boiled eggs in the morning, saying: "I've ordered two hard-boiled eggs [for breakfast]. I'm trying to lose the stomach before Christmas."
JK joked about the aroma of Amanda's breakfast, after confessing he's a "changed man" at breakfast time, now favouring avocado on toast. Amanda believes in enjoying life to the fullest, telling MailOnline: "You have to enjoy life. I eat everything. Drink everything."
She recalled a friend who didn't live to see her 50s and regretted spending her life dieting, adding: "I had a friend once who didn't make it to her 50s and her biggest regret was that she spent her life on a diet. I don't diet."
However, the mother-of-two does make sure to hydrate regularly, believing it's "good for my body and my soul", reports .
Rather than hitting the gym, Amanda prefers to keep fit by running three times a week, according to Woman's Health, choosing to run for approximately 36 minutes each time.
Chatting with Cosmopolitan, the celeb revealed her unique fitness mantras: "I have to run for my rose wine in the summer and run for my red wine in winter. And I don't do it because I feel I have to; I do it for my own discipline and dignity."
Although she isn't exactly a gym bunny, the renowned judge has taken a shine to yoga after becoming a mum to her daughter Hollie, noting that it aids her in mastering breathing techniques and instilling inner peace.
With an honest approach towards her eating habits, Amanda hasn't shied away from sharing her vegetarian lifestyle, boasting that her typical meal is a vibrant fusion of "lots of avocado, chickpeas and quinoa salads".
Further to her healthy living, she's also been linked with some supplement love, having represented collagen supplement brand Revive. Her testimony to The Times was straightforward she would never spread the word about it without genuinely backing its benefits.
