Victim Compensation Scheme

Through this, victims of murder, rape and other cases are given financial assistance from the authority. Not only this, the maximum amount under financial assistance to the victim himself or his family members is Rs 5 lakh.
Advocate for free legal aid
This special scheme has been started for poor or needy people. Where there are many people who are unable to pay the lawyer's fees, for this, women, disabled people, disaster victims, BPL people and persons detained in jail are provided free lawyer's assistance by the District Legal Services Authority. Only up to the District Court. Not only this, the assistance of advocates is being provided even to the High Court and the Supreme Court.
Women's Legal Aid Clinic
This scheme has been started for women where a women's legal aid clinic is operated by the authority. Apart from this, if any woman in trouble is not getting help from her own home or from outside or even from the police, then she can go to this clinic. The problem will be resolved by the authority. Even if someone needs to be banned, it will be done.

On the occasion of Legal Day, mediation work is also done by the District Legal Services Authority. For this, the role of mediator is played by the court. That is, if a lawsuit is going on between two parties for years and both are facing problems, then it is resolved by the authority. The authority acts as mediation between both the parties. She gets a compromise done in the case and then puts the same matter in the Lok Adalat, the case is disposed of in the Lok Adalat.
