Life Style: A very famous recipe from North India, Palak Paneer Gravy is made with blanched spinach and soft paneer cooked with tomatoes. 250 grams washed and drained, chopped spinach
250 grams chopped tomatoes
2 chopped green chillies
1 teaspoon ground red chilli
1 spoon curd
2 pinches of salt
250 grams cheese cut into cubes
250 grams chopped onion
2 cloves
1 teaspoon butter
100 ml sunflower oil
3 black cardamoms
Step 1
To make this easy and popular lunch/dinner recipe, heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan. Fry the washed, dried and chopped spinach for a minute and take it out.
Step 2
In another pan, fry the chopped paneer pieces in oil and drain them well. Keep them aside until needed.

Grind onion, tomato, green chilli, cardamom and cloves with salt and make a smooth paste.

Put it in a pan and keep it on medium flame. Stir and cook for a minute or two.
Step 5
Grind the spinach and put it in the pan. Now add fried paneer pieces and cook for 5 more minutes.
Step 6
Add butter and curd to the spinach and cheese mixture. Stir well and take out.
Step 7
Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve with rice, roti or paratha.
