The country's largest airline IndiGo has launched Getaway Sale. Under this sale, people will get a chance to book domestic flights tickets for just Rs 111. The company has announced this offer on the day when the last efforts to unite Air India were completed with the merger of Air India and Vistara. Not only this, along with doubting this, Indigo has also tried to challenge the offer of cheap flight tickets of Air India Express.
IndiGo now has to compete directly with Air India in the country's airlines market. After coming into the hands of Tata Group, Air India is expanding rapidly. In this sequence, Tata Group has also completed the merger of its other airlines Vistara with Air India and AirAsia India with Air India Express.
Indigo Airlines has offered cheap fares for domestic and international flights in its 'Getaway Sale'. Apart from this, it has also been announced to give discount of up to 15 percent on other services of airlines. IndiGo's 'Getaway Sale' is open for booking from 11 to 13 November 2024. Under this sale, customers can book tickets now to travel between January 1 and April 30, 2025.
Under this sale of IndiGo, customers can book standard seats on domestic routes for just Rs 111. However, the ticket price of one-way flights in domestic will start from Rs 1,111. Whereas one-way fare on international routes will start from Rs 4,511. And up to 15 percent discount will be available on selected add-on services.
The benefit of this offer will be that people can plan to travel on the occasion of New Year. Not only this, they will not have to buy expensive air tickets for this. People can avail the benefit of this sale by visiting Indigo's website or mobile app. This offer will be valid only on non-stop flights of IndiGo, the benefits of this offer will not be available for the flights which are codeshare or connecting.
Due to this, Air India Express had introduced a flash sale. In this, the fare of Express Lite is starting from Rs 1444, while the starting price of Express Value Fair has been kept at Rs 1599. In this offer also, booking can be done only till 13 November 2024. Under this, people can book tickets for travel between 19 November 2024 and 30 April 2025.
