1/4 cup peas
1/4 teaspoon red chilli
2 potatoes
2 spoon chaat masala
2 cups gram flour
4 leaves cabbage
1 pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon refined oil
Step 1
Wash and clean the peas. Pour enough water in a pan, place it on medium flame and stir the peas. Cook till the peas boil, then mash the peas and keep them aside. Now add water with potatoes in another pan (water should cover the potatoes). Boil the potatoes on medium flame. When done, peel and mash them. Keep aside.

Put the cabbage leaves in hot boiling water with salt. When the leaves become soft, immediately put the leaves in cold water. Drain the water and keep the leaves aside. Add potatoes, salt and green peas in a mixing bowl. Add chaat masala and mix well.

Pour the prepared mixture into blanched cabbage leaves and then wrap them tightly. Add gram flour, salt, baking soda and water in a bowl. Mix well until you get a batter-like consistency.

Heat refined oil in a deep-bottomed pan on medium flame. Then dip the prepared cabbage rolls in the gram flour batter and drop them directly into the hot oil. Deep fry the roll until it turns golden brown from all sides. Remove them on tissue paper and serve.
