In his first interview since the rumours began Abhishek Bachchan opened up about the experience of working on I Want To Talk and the challenges he faced while filming. At the movies recent music launch he shared some valuable lessons he learned on set particularly about the demands of transforming his appearance for the role. Joking about his character’s pot-bellied look Abhishek said “Don’t ever put on weight for a film again. Trust me at my age it gets very difficult to lose it after a while.” He clarified that the weight he gained for the role was entirely real and not achieved with prosthetics highlighting the physical commitment he made to accurately portray his character. Abhishek expressed his gratitude to Shoojit Sircar for giving him a chance to step out of his comfort zone. Reflecting on the film’s impact on his own life he said “What I’d like to thank Shoojit Da for is and I hope you all can find some sort of parallel in your own life you know we’re all stuck in the rut of life. We’re doing what we’re doing we’re enjoying it. Some of us have a corporate job some of us are artists some of us do whatever we do.
