Mathira denounces fake AI-generated content using her name and photos

Actress/host Mathira, on Wednesday, expressed frustration over her identity being used in fake content.

On Wednesday, Mathira took to X (formerly Twitter) to denounce individuals using her name and old photos to fabricate material.

“Some people are exploiting my name and photoshoots to add fake elements,” she stated. “Please, have some shame and keep me out of this nonsense.”

Unverified photos and videos involving online personalities have circulated widely on social media, sparking mixed reactions from users.

Addressing this situation, Mathira responded to the viral posts on Threads, clarifying, “This is AI-generated. People are making weird videos using AI, but that’s not me.”

She added that her real hands are fully tattooed, unlike the video content.

In a follow-up on Instagram, Mathira noted that the shared video was from two years ago, explaining that the situation caused her significant stress, leading her to approach the Federal Investigation Authority for assistance.
