Instagram is testing a new feature that will allow users to generate AI versions of their profile pictures. The feature, currently being developed, will let users easily create

AI-enhanced images through the profile editing options. By accessing Meta's AI image generation tools, users can create their unique AI profile pictures with ease.

This feature is not exclusive to Instagram. Meta is also testing it on Facebook.

Meanwhile, platforms like TikTok and Snapchat already offer similar tools, with TikTok’s "Dreams" and Snapchat's "AI Avatar Creation" being popular among users. Once introduced, Instagram will join the list of social media apps offering users the ability to create AI-generated profile pictures effortlessly.
