The popular Netflix show The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is making headlines again. This reality series features well-known Bollywood wives including Neelam Kothari Maheep Kapoor Seema Sajdeh Bhavana Pandey Shalini Passi and others. Produced by Karan Johar under his digital wing Dharmatic Entertainment the show gives viewers a peek into the glamorous lives of Bollywood’s elite. Recently in an interview Bhavana Pandey one of the shows cast members described Karan Johar as both a “provocateur and peacemaker.” In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble Bhavana said “Karan Johar is the king of everything I feel. I mean the amount of work he does and how much he manages to pack into a single day—I really want to understand where he gets the bandwidth and energy from. And you know when you call or message Karan…people usually take hours to respond and that’s understandable. But Karan if he can’t call you back he’ll at least message and say ‘I’ll call you back in so much time.’ He’s very considerate that way. When asked if Karan also acts as a peacemaker within their friend group she replied “He instigates (aag lagao) and then acts as the peacemaker. He lights the fire and then puts it out.” Bhavana has been a regular presence on The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives across all three seasons. The series premiered in 2020 followed by a second season in 2022 and the third which debuted on Netflix India just last month. The show marks Bhavanas screen debut. She is married to actor Chunky Panday and is the mother of actress Ananya Panday. About The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives Since its first season three constants on the show have been Maheep Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor’s wife) Neelam (actor jewellery designer and wife of Sameer Soni) and Seema Sajdeh (fashion designer and ex-wife of Sohail Khan). Season 3 has introduced new faces including Riddhima Kapoor (Ranbir Kapoor’s sister) Shalini Passi (art collector) and Kalyani Chawla (a model).
