Political parties have entered the field with full force for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. To sway the voters, various kinds of promises are being made by the ruling party and the opposition. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made three big promises on Friday. He said that Mahavikas Aghadi is going to take historic steps for the farmers of Maharashtra.
He said that firstly, 7000 per quintal MSP and bonus for soybean, a committee will be set up to decide the appropriate price for soybean and the right MSP will also be arranged for cotton. He said that since the last three elections, BJP has been promising MSP of Rs 6000 for soybean, but even today farmers are forced to sell the soybean grown with their blood and sweat for Rs 3000-4000. Mahavikas Aghadi will provide our food providers their rights, fruits of their hard work and justice.

Manifestos have already been released by the ruling party and the opposition regarding the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Congress has made many big promises in this election. Talking about the five big promises of Mahavikas Aghadi, it includes the promise of equality, help and prosperity of farmers, Mahalaxmi Yojana, family protection and financial assistance of Rs 4000 every month for unemployed youth.
Mahavikas Aghadi's promise of equality includes caste census and efforts to remove the limit of 50 percent reservation. At the same time, the promises made for the help and prosperity of farmers include farm loan waiver up to Rs 3 lakh and incentive amount of Rs 50 thousand on regular loan repayment.
As far as Mahalakshmi Yojana is concerned, MVA has promised Rs 3000 per month to women and free bus travel to women and girls if they come to power. At the same time, in the promise of family protection, apart from health insurance of Rs 25 lakh for every family, patients will also get free medicines. The last promise is for the youth and it has been said that if MVA government is formed in Maharashtra then the unemployed youth of the state will get Rs 4000 every month.
