PM Modi gave a gift of Rs 6600 crore to the tribals of Jamui, CM Nitish Kumar said this

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday participated in the Tribal Pride Day celebrations organized on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Ballopur in Khaira block of Jamui district. On this occasion, the Prime Minister inaugurated, laid the foundation stone and inaugurated schemes worth Rs 6600 crore through remote. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also participated in this program.

Addressing the program organized on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day celebration, all of you have been present in large numbers to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, hence I welcome all of you and congratulate you all. Am. The Prime Minister is doing every work for the country and is also helping Bihar completely.

They said thatToday, on 15th November, Tribal Pride Day has been organized in Jamui on the occasion of the birthday of Lord Birsa Munda. It is a matter of great pleasure that the Prime Minister has come to Jamui to participate in this program, I welcome him wholeheartedly and congratulate him. I also heartily congratulate the Governor of Bihar, the Union Minister, the Minister of Bihar and all the people associated with the program.

Lord Birsa Munda was the hero of tribal society: Nitish

The Chief Minister said that Lord Birsa Munda was the hero of the tribal society, who had struggled a lot for the tribal society. Lord Birsa Munda was born on November 15, 1875 in Ranchi. Today Ranchi is separated, but at the time when he was born, Bengal, Bihar and Orissa were all together. After a few days of the freedom struggle, Bihar got separated from Bengal and after a few months, Orissa got separated. At that time Bihar and Jharkhand were all together.

They said thatJharkhand was separated from Bihar after a long time in the year 2000. At that time, the government at the center under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee had decided to create a separate state of Jharkhand from Bihar. Lord Birsa Munda has made a big contribution in the independence of the country and the upliftment of the tribal society. When he was agitating against the British, he was put in jail where he died at the age of 25 in the year 1900.

The Chief Minister said that the birthday of Lord Birsa Munda is being celebrated as Tribal Pride Day by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the year 2021. This year it has been almost 150 years since the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. Apart from the Tribal Pride Day, today the Prime Minister has laid the foundation stone and inaugurated schemes worth Rs 6600 crore for the development of the tribal area, for this I congratulate him, this is a big thing.

The Chief Minister said that the statue of Lord Birsa Munda has been installed in Patna by the Bihar government in the year 2007. The birthday of Lord Birsa Munda is celebrated as a state function by the state government every year on 15 November. Even today it is celebrated there as a state function. Since the NDA government was formed in Bihar in 2005, we have done a lot of work for the tribal society there. Everyone will know each and every thing from the words of the Prime Minister.

They said that I repeat that we will stay with them for the whole day. Some people from my place made mistakes in between. We are together since the time of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. We were together in his government also but there was some disturbance in between but now we will never go anywhere. We have been together since 1995. Now we will not go here and there but will stay with them completely.

PM is working for the entire country: Nitish

The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister is working for the entire country and he has done and is doing a lot for Bihar also. Wherever the Prime Minister goes, he gets a lot of work done. Now that he has come here, he has got so much development work done. They are welcome, they are congratulated. We are completely with them. It is a matter of great pleasure that he has come here today, I congratulate him. I would like to say that you all should remain united and I request you all to raise your hands and greet the Prime Minister.

During the program, the guests on the stage including the Prime Minister, Governor and Chief Minister released the commemorative symbol and commemorative postage stamp of Lord Birsa Munda on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda.

During the beginning of the program, the Prime Minister, Governor and Chief Minister visited the exhibition set up near the stage based on tribal heritage, the story of brave sons and entrepreneurship of tribal citizens.
