The students' movement in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh is not over yet. However, now this movement seems to be divided into two groups. On one hand, the students preparing for PCS have announced to end their agitation, while on the other hand, the students preparing for RO/ARO exam are still continuing their strike. He says that until the Public Service Commission does not accept his demand of conducting the RO/ARO examination in 'one day one shift', he will not give up his strike.
Competitive students in Prayagraj ended their five-day long agitation on Friday. Student leaders say that new dates for PCS pre-exam have been announced and RO/ARO exam has been postponed. Students believe that the committee that has been formed for the RO/ARO examination. She will decide to conduct the exam in one day. Student leaders have asked all the students protesting against the Commission to end the student movement and start preparing for the exams.
However, last Thursday the students were not satisfied with the decision of the Public Service Commission. The students had said that like the PCS Pre, the RO/ARO exam should also be conducted in one day, but now the student leaders have confidence in the Commission that the committee formed by the Commission for the RO/ARO exam will also conduct the same for the students in future. Any decision will be taken only keeping the demands of the people in mind.
At the same time, students preparing for RO/ARO exam are still not ready to end their agitation. These boys and girls, only 15 to 20 in number, are still sitting on strike. They say that the decision taken by the Commission for PCS Pre-examination, the Commission will have to take the same decision for RO/ARO examination. Otherwise our movement will continue further. At present, the Public Service Commission will remain closed for three days due to holidays and the students say that after the opening of the Commission, they will gather here again with their demands.
Yesterday, a committee was constituted for RO/ARO pre-examination. Kalp Raj Singh has been made the chairman of this committee. Ram Pyare and retired IAS Yogesh Kumar are also involved in this. These members have been made. Retired PCS Prem Prakash Pal has also been included in this committee. After receiving the report of the committee, the decision regarding RO/ARO examination will be taken.
