Times Of India TV reached out to the producer of the show, Rajan Shahi but there was no response till the time of filing this story.
Anupamaa is one of the most popular television dramas, known for its compelling storyline and strong performances. The show revolves around the journey of Anupamaa, a devoted homemaker who reclaims her identity after facing betrayal and challenges in her personal life. With its relatable characters and socially relevant themes, Anupamaa has struck a chord with audiences and continues to dominate TRP charts.
Rupali Ganguly , the lead actress of Anupamaa, recently found herself in the spotlight due to allegations made by her stepdaughter Isha Verma from husband Ashwin Verma's first marriage. Esha, Ashwin's daughter, has alleged that Rupali was involved in an extramarital affair with her father. In a video that has since been deleted, Esha also expressed feeling "unsafe" around the actress. She accused the actress of being “psychotic and abusive” and claimed Rupali is responsible for causing a rift between her father, Ashwin, and her mother, Sapna.
Rupali issued a legal notice to Esha Verma, demanding Rs 50 crore in damages. After facing the Rs 50 crore defamation lawsuit, Esha Verma removed all the defamatory posts directed at Rupali Ganguly and made her Instagram account private.
