About Suresh Sangaiah,Suresh Sangaiah began his career in Tamil cinema as an assistant to Manikandan on the sets of the Dhanush-backed Kaaka Muttai, which received rave reviews. After honing his skills, Suresh made his directorial debut with Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu, which hit the screens in 2017. The film featured Vidharth in the lead and received rave reviews because of its engaging screenplay. It went on to emerge as a commercial success. The dramedy centred on the chaos that prevails when the protagonist finds himself in an unusual situation after his marriage.
After this, Suresh began work on Sathiya Sothanai and wrapped it up right before the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020. The film eventually hit the screens in 2023 and proved to be a commercial failure. It starred Premgi Amaren in the lead.
Suresh Sangaiah was set to team up with Yogi Babu for his third film. Unlike his earlier films, this was supposed to premiere directly on Disney+ Hotstar. It is likely to remain unfinished following Suresh’s death.
