Yogi government has come into action after the death of 10 children due to fire in Jhansi Medical College. From Lucknow to Noida and from Barabanki to Azamgarh, the administration came into active mode. Security checks were conducted throughout the day in every small and big hospital. Where negligence was found, notices were immediately handed over to them and warnings were given of action if the system was not improved.

The fire department in Lucknow has sent notices to 80 hospitals, stating that as per the guidelines, proper security arrangements were not found in the hospitals. According to the information, about 906 hospitals were examined in Lucknow in which fire NOC was found only in 301 hospitals. Some hospitals are yet to be investigated.

Security arrangements missing in government hospitals in Azamgarh too

Fire safety equipment and pipelines were not found in any government hospital including Divisional District Women's Hospital in Azamgarh. After the Jhansi incident, all the hospitals of Azamgarh proved to be a complete failure in the reality check. The state government has also come under attack due to lack of fire facility in the hospital. Fire safety work is being done in all the government hospitals of the district for the last several years, but the work has not been completed yet.

In Noida also, the fire department team inspected the fire system in Child PGI Hospital. Where, some flaws were also found. It was told that water was dripping from the basement to different floors of the PGI hospital. Apart from this, there was also no smoke detection system. After this, CAO Pradeep Kumar Choubey has given instructions to repair the fire system. The hospital management has been given 15 days to correct the irregularities. Even after this, if the arrangements are not rectified then action will be taken.

10 children died in the accident, 10 were seriously burnt

There was mourning in the Medical College of Jhansi on Friday night when a fire broke out due to a short circuit in the oxygen concentrator in the NICU. The entire NICU was highly oxygenated, so the fire engulfed the entire hall and a massive fire broke out within no time. 10 children died in this incident while 10 have died. 17 children were saved in the accident.

Questions raised on the arrangements of government hospitals

After this incident in Jhansi, questions are being raised about the government hospitals of the entire state. Sources say that leave alone fire safety, not a single safety equipment is found in many hospitals. Questions are also being raised that why does the administration wake up only after some incident? People are also holding the hospital arrangements responsible for the accident in Jhansi.
