Two flash bombs were fired towards Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's home in the northern Israeli town of Caesarea on Saturday. They fell into the garden and neither Netanyahu nor his family were present, reported Reuters quoting police. This is the second such attack at Netanyahu's Caesarea residence. Earlier in October, a drone was launched towards his home, which damaged the window of his bedroom. Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said the incident crossed "all red lines" in a post on X early on Sunday. "It is not possible for the Prime Minister of Israel, who is threatened by Iran and its proxies who are trying to assassinate him, to be subject to the same threats from home," Katz said. He also called on security and judicial agencies to take the necessary steps. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Saturday's incident.Israel's President Isaac Herzog condemned the incident in a post on X and said an investigation was underway. "The incitement against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu crosses all boundaries. Throwing a flash bomb into his house tonight is crossing another red line," Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir also said on X.Earlier in October, Netanyahu's Caesarea home was hit by a Hezbollah drone launched from Lebanon. The drone attack has reportedly damaged the window of his bedroom but did not penetrate the home, apparently because of reinforced glass and other protections, reported The Times of Israel. The report said that pieces of the glass had landed in the family's pool nearby in the yard.Israel said that no one was injured in the attack, adding that the other two drones were intercepted. Netanyahu's office said that he was not home at the time of the incident.Hezbollah had claimed responsibility for a drone attack. Hezbollah "declares its full, complete and exclusive responsibility for the Caesarea operation targeting... Netanyahu," said group's spokesman Mohammed Afif during a press conference in Beirut's southern suburbs. (This is a developing story. More details to be added)
