A man from Thrissur, Kerala has to face strict legal action for inhumane treatment on the road. The police has taken major action for not giving way to the ambulance. A fine of Rs 2.5 lakh has been imposed on the car owner for not giving way to the ambulance even after blowing the siren and horn and his driving license has also been cancelled. The video of this incident has also surfaced on social media which is going viral.

The incident happened on November 7 in Chalakudy. The car was going from Ponnani to Thrissur Medical College. Dashcam footage shared by the ambulance driver shows the ambulance following the silver Maruti Suzuki Ciaz on the two-lane road for more than two minutes. The video shows car drivers stopping every attempt to pass in front of the ambulance. Here the ambulance driver was continuously blowing his horn and his siren was also sounding.

After this, the car owner has been accused of blocking the way for an ambulance, obstructing the work of an authorized authority under the Motor Vehicles Act and not having a pollution control certificate (PUCC). According to Section 194E of the Motor Vehicles Act, not giving way to an ambulance can lead to imprisonment of up to six months or a fine of up to Rs 10,000 or both.
People got angry after seeing the video
A former user named Vijesh Shetty shared the video and wrote that a car owner in Kerala was fined Rs 2.5 lakh and his license canceled for not giving way to an ambulance. This is an act of madness and inhumanity. He further wrote that very good Kerala Police.
