November 18, Jerusalem, Israel (ANI/TPS): According to the Israeli Police on Monday, Israeli security officers seized seven lathes used to make and fix weapon components during raids on several facilities in Hebron that were thought to be constructing explosives.
At the site, two Palestinian males, ages 38 and 68, were taken into custody and are now being investigated. Other suspects have been identified, according to authorities, and are anticipated to be captured shortly.
“Our troops put forth endless effort every night to apprehend terrorists and seize their weapons. Moshe Finchi, the police superintendent for Judea and Samaria, said, “This operation is part of our relentless fight against terror, in collaboration with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet, to ensure the safety of Israeli citizens.”
The suspects’ ties to Palestinian terror organizations or organized crime were not made clear by the authorities.
More than 5,250 wanted Palestinians in Judea and Samaria have been detained by Israeli security forces since the October 7 assaults; around 40% of them are connected to Hamas.
