Nagpur: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday held a roadshow in Maharashtra's Nagpur for the upcoming assembly elections in the state. However, during her roadshow, some Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters showed the flags of their party from the top of a building. Priyanka Gandhi's reaction was unmissable.She not only responded to them with a smile but also wished them good luck for the upcoming polls. In the video, Priyanka Gandhi could also be seen saying that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), comprising the Congress, the Shiv Sena (UBT) and Sharad Pawar's NCP, will win the Maharashtra Assembly Polls.The Congress General Secretary conducted the roadshow in Nagpur West and Nagpur Central seats. Notably, Priyanka Gandhi made her electoral debut by contesting the Wayanad bypolls. The Bye-Elections in Kerala's Wayanad were necessitated after Rahul Gandhi, who won both Raebareli and Wayanad seats, decided to retain the Raebareli Lok Sabha constituency.Notably, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) headquarters are located in Nagpur and is considered as a stronghold of the BJP. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is the Member of Parliament from the Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency. Meanwhile, four out of six seats have BJP MLAs.The assembly election in Maharashtra are scheduled to take place in a single phase on November 20. Votes will be counted on November 23.
