Hrithik Roshan made his debut with the film 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' released in the year 2000. He became famous overnight through this film. However, before making his acting debut, Hrithik also worked as an assistant director in the film industry. He was also an assistant director in Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan's film 'Karan-Arjun'.
'Karan-Arjun' was directed by Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan and he used to assist his father in this film. This film is being re-released on 22nd November. Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan has told about how Hrithik lived when he was his assistant. Actually, even though Hrithik was a star kid, he was not given any special facilities on the sets.
While talking to News 18, Rakesh Roshan said, “I used to go to the film sets in a car and he (Hrithik) used to travel by bus. I did not take him with me. I wanted to show him that kind of life. Even when we used to go for outdoor shooting, he would not stay in the hotel with the actors but would stay with the people from the unit.”
Rakesh Roshan further said, “There are four men in the room so he is also staying there. Eating their own food. Sometimes the stomach is getting upset, sometimes something else is happening. I did this with her for four to five years. These things help in knowing what is happening behind the camera. That's why when you see Hrithik shooting as an actor, he is never late on the set."
However, 'Karan Arjun' was released in the year 1995. The film received a very good response from the people and proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. Now it remains to be seen how this film fares upon re-release. Recently, a trailer of this film was also released, in which Hrithik's voiceover was included.
