In Patna, the capital of Bihar, ADM (Land Reforms) Maitri Singh seems to be trapped in a land scam. After allegations were leveled against her, she was transferred on October 22 last month and she has gone missing along with the related files. Even after asking several times, they have neither returned the files nor given any information in this regard. Now we are not able to even contact him.
According to the information, Maitri Singh, who was DCLR i.e. ADM (Land Reforms) of Patna Sadar, was accused of huge irregularities in the filing of rejection of lands. After this, he was transferred on 22 October. Even after this, he disposed of about 255 files in back date. Not only this, while going after transfer, she also took government documents with her.
It is alleged that Maitri Singh has passed backdated orders on files on a large scale and with wrong intentions and has kept all these files with himself. Of these, 28 files were returned to the office by an unknown person on 14 and 15 November. After the matter came to light, now the DM of Patna has ordered an investigation into the matter. According to SDM Sadar of the capital, this investigation has revealed that 451 files and 36 records of land disputes are still missing.
Now in this matter the DM has written a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. In this he has recommended action against the ADM. According to the information received, Maitri Singh had joined the job only eight months ago. At present he is posted as Officer on Special Duty in the University Service Commission.
