The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released bumper vacancies. AAI has decided to provide apprenticeships to the youth in the civil aviation sector. During this one-year apprenticeship, the youth will be taught all the technical nuances related to the aviation sector, so that they can make a better future in this field. Candidates who want to do an apprenticeship in the Airport Authority of India can send their application to AAI by 20 November.
According to the Airport Authority of India, there are a total of 90 posts for apprenticeship, which have different streams. Out of these 90 posts, there are 17 posts for civil engineering, 20 posts for an electric engineer, 15 posts for computer science engineering, 8 posts for a mechanical engineer, 5 posts for a fitter, 10 posts for a mechanical motor vehicle, 10 posts for an electrician and 5 posts for draftsman.
Who can apply?
This apprenticeship program is divided based on merit. Youths doing regular four-year graduation courses, three-year diplomas, and ITI in any subject can apply for this apprenticeship. The Airport Authority of India has fixed 30-30 posts for graduation, diploma, and trade. Candidates from Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, and Arunachal Pradesh can also apply for this apprenticeship program.
How much stipend will be given?
According to the Airport Authority of India, graduates selected for this apprenticeship program will get a stipend of Rs 15 thousand per month, technical diploma holders will get Rs 12 thousand, and trade apprentices will get Rs 9 thousand per month. Candidates should note, that only those candidates will be selected for these posts who have completed their graduation or diploma in the year 2021 or thereafter. Also, the age limit of the candidates applying should be between 18 to 26 years.
Recruitments were out earlier too.
In April this year too, the Airport Authority of India announced recruitment for more than 400 junior executive posts in different departments, for which applications were sought from candidates who had cleared GATE 2024 and MCA pass. The last date to apply was May 1. Earlier in January too, the Airport Authority of India had sought applications from youth for apprenticeship in different departments.
