Kashi: 25 lakh loan, 10 lakh lost, 7 days ago he stopped taking depression medicine and then one day he took his licensed pistol from the police station and committed suicide. This is the case of Kashi where a gutkha businessman committed suicide by shooting himself. Vijay Rothour was suffering from depression since 1 year. He was trying to live every day and then one day he gave up. And there were some big reasons behind this. Family, money and problems...these were all the things that were hollowing Vijay from inside overnight. Vijay committed suicide on 16 November and about 7 days ago he had stopped taking depression medicine. Vijay's business was going well and from the same business he had also bought 4 houses in the city.
Vijay used to lend money to small businessmen on interest. Many people took money from Vijay and invested it in the share market and see the fate, they made profits and when Vijay invested the money in shares, he lost Rs 10 lakh. The people to whom he lent money not only did not return the money but also did not pick up the phone. The matter of money became a big issue. Due to this, Vijay started facing financial losses. And there started quarrels at home. After which Vijay stopped coming to his shop. The people whom he called started giving excuses to Vijay due to loss in business so that they do not have to pay the money.
Now Vijay had also taken the responsibility of his niece's marriage, due to which he went into depression. Because his niece's father and Vijay's brother had died some time ago, due to which this responsibility fell on Vijay. Then somehow things were arranged, the boy's family broke the marriage and this thing broke Vijay too. Vijay's wife and three children live in his house and in the back part of the house live his brother's wife and daughter. Whose responsibility was on Vijay only. Vijay went into stress and then due to the Lok Sabha elections held in May, Vijay deposited his licensed pistol in the police station. Seeing his mental condition, Vijay's friends advised him to keep the pistol deposited in the police station itself. Then there is a provision of Shastra Puja on Dussehra, for which Vijay reached the police station with his daughter and got the pistol released from the police station. And then on the 16th, he took his own life.
When the family members were questioned, they told that Vijay had many plans of taking his own life in his mind. That is why he got a pistol from the police station. And when it came to the division of the ancestral house, Vijay's brother's wife was not happy with that and her pressure also used to fall on Vijay because there was an atmosphere of fights in the house. Vijay's business was quite spread. Vijay used to earn more than the other brothers. Vijay's family was quite famous. Vijay's father used to make and sell bidis under the name of Meva Bidi. Vijay's father's business was spread in Varanasi and the surrounding districts. When the elder brother died, Vijay separated his business and it started doing very well. But ever since Vijay made his own house separately, disputes started happening. Then suddenly 10 lakhs were lost and the 25 lakhs that people had borrowed from them were also not returned. But is there any other angle apart from this which is hidden from the eyes of the police?
