Firozabad District Program Officer Kesari Nandan Tiwari told Local 18 that 345 vacant posts of Anganwadi workers are to be recruited in Firozabad. For this, online applications are being taken by the Child Development and Nutrition Department. People applying will be recruited as per the instructions of the government.
He said that for this, there are 160 unreserved, 49 in the EWS category, 75 backward caste, and 61 scheduled caste posts in the district. If we look at child development project-wise, Firozabad city II has the highest number of 65 vacancies and rural and Jasrana have the lowest number of 14 vacancies each. The city I has 30 vacancies, Eka Rural has 21, Tundla has 54, Kotla project has 60, Khairgarh project has 17, Madanpur has 250, Araon Rural has 32 and Shikohabad has 18 vacancies. Inter-passed women can apply for all these posts after which they will be recruited soon.
Women up to 35 years old can apply
Only women can apply for the vacant posts as Anganwadi workers in Firozabad. The age limit for this has been kept between 18 to 35 years by the department. Apart from this, the applicant should be a resident of the village panchayat or ward of the vacant post. The applicant should have a six-month-old income certificate. Caste and domicile are also required. The last date for application for the posts of Anganwadi worker is December 2.
