VIRAL VIDEO: Many people are fed up of spam and fraudulent calls to credit cards, loans, real estate investments, etc. If you want to deal with such calls wisely instead of picking up and wasting your time, then the new launch of the British company may interest you. A company called “O2” has introduced “AI Granny”, so that Grandma Daisy can answer scammers and fraudsters calling you. Grandma will answer the call and actively engage in talking to them, with the aim of wasting their time and resources in a humorous manner.
It has been described as a “human-like granny, Daisy”, who will answer scammers' calls and keep them busy for as long as possible. O2 noted that the feature is “an AI created by the company to waste phone scammers' time”.
The company shared a video in which Daisy is seen attending a call and talking to a scammer. During the call, she was heard saying, “I guess your profession is annoying people? Stop calling me, you idiot”. “I have all the time in the world,” O2 said while introducing AI to its potential customers. Releasing Daisy's video, they wrote: “Daisy reveals you're not always talking to the person you think you are, urging O2 customers to be wary, leaving 'fraud' to AI experts And is urged to report suspected fraudulent calls and messages to 7726 for free.”
