Indian music maestro AR Rahman and his wife, Saira Banu, are parting ways after nearly three decades of marriage.
In a statement shared by her legal representative Vandana Shah, Saira Banu revealed that the decision was made after enduring considerable emotional challenges in their relationship. “Despite their enduring bond, the couple feels the hurdles have created an irreparable divide,” the statement noted.
Saira expressed that the choice was made with great sorrow and emphasized her desire for privacy during this difficult period.
